Natasha Hunte
Graduate Intern
Hello,
My name is Natasha Hunte, and I am a graduate intern, the Community Outreach Liaison, and Office Administrator with Better Days Ahead. I received my undergraduate degree in Psychology with a minor in Criminology from Kennesaw State University. I am a Master of Social Work student at Walden University, and I am completing my final internship to begin mental health counseling. In my role as Community Outreach Liaison, I connect clients to community resources, assess and evaluate needs, and foster collaborative relationships with local organizations and agencies
Through the years, I’ve worked in childcare and childhood education, which has deepened my passion for working with children and families to support their well-being and needs. My approach is rooted in empowerment and resilience, helping children, teens, and families navigate challenges with compassion and strength. I believe in looking at the individual as a whole and meeting each person where they are to truly understand the unique needs, perspectives, and narratives that affect each person’s well-being.
Using trauma-informed and client-centered approaches, I specialize in working with children and families affected by family trauma, domestic violence, sexual violence, anxiety, depression, self-esteem issues, traumatic stress, life transitions, and behavioral issues.
I believe everyone has a unique story to tell, and I aim to provide a safe and open space to help guide individuals and families on a path towards healing.
